Revenue and projects

Reports and exports

Choose the right report and understand what each export contains.

Rev Tracker exports help you share current views, reconcile forecast details, and prepare for review meetings.

Most exports reflect the data currently shown in the active view. If a search or filter is active, the export may only include matching rows.

Best Export Practices

  1. Refresh data first.
  2. Apply only the filters you want reflected in the file.
  3. Check the row count on screen.
  4. Export.
  5. Name or store the file according to your team's review process.

Why Two Exports May Not Match

Two exports can differ because:

  • One was filtered and the other was not.
  • Data was refreshed between exports.
  • One export came from a summary view and the other came from a detail tab.
  • One month used historical snapshot values.
  • A manual forecast or MRR value was changed.
